What's On

Coronavirus Update – 2 –
17th March 2020.

Following the Prime Ministers update today on Coronavirus and the guidance provided by the Chief Medical & Scientific Officer’s, BCLC will be closed (including Sunday Services) from noon on the 17th March 2020 until further notice.
We are also encouraging that all partners follow the advice about Social Distancing regarding smaller meetings usually held in homes and would recommend that these are suspended during this period.

We are liaising with our Food Bank leaders, Families HQ , Baby Basics and the Centre team to co-ordinate our efforts around managing donations of food and personal items as well as distribution.

We will provide further information on how this will be managed shortly.

If you would like to volunteer to assist please contact Gail Thomas at Gail.m.thomas@btinternet.com and/ or the Families HQ Team at BCLC kids on Facebook.

Please remember and support these 3 requests where you can;

1.Remember those who are isolated at this time and support them if you can.
Here is a link to the viral kindness postcard, that you may wish to use in your neighbourhood to contact those who may be isolated at this time.

2.Listen to the advice being given by our Government experts and take care of yourselves.

3.Please continue to support our ministry with your donations tithes and offerings.
We still have a great deal of really important work to do!

We can assure you that we are taking the advice provided very seriously and will continue to keep you updated.

Blessings

Our life groups are the ideal opportunity connect with likeminded people, build long lasting friendships and grow spiritually. Although the life groups meet in various locations, we are more interested in you connecting with people that you share a bond with.

Mark and Lorraine Heydon-Porthcawl.

Affectionately known to us as 007, Mark works for local government, has served BCLC for a number of years, and Lorraine has done so too, in everything from our cafe to the choir. Both keen cyclists, they recently completed Velathon Wales, are extremely generous and are passionate about loving God and Loving People. They will be happy to point you in the right direction.

Debbie and Glyn Udraufski – Bridgend.
Both extremely down to earth people, Debbie and Glyn are a hardworking committed family unit, who are fun loving and care deeply about your personal journey.
As as a working professional, Debbie is used to dealing with people, is a team player, and has a real interested in seeing everyone become their best self.
Glyn is an avid Liverpool supporter and has played an active part in developing ‘Heroes’, our men’s fellowship. Both Debbie and Glyn will be happy to welcome you.

Gail Thomas Cefn.
Gail Thomas is the matriarch of our church. It is very rare that you will see someone dedicate the whole of their life to the service of God and family, and BCLC is blessed to have such foundations in our midst.
With over 60 years dedication to BCLC, Gail’s father was a former pastor of BCLC.
Her husband Mal was a true giant of the faith who’s visionary idea to have a multi purpose facility to serve our community, is the reality we now live in.
Gail is also our treasurer and has a pastoral heart.
