I hope you are doing well.
First I would like to apologise for this being the first Insight of this year.

It has been a whirlwind start to the year, and amidst all of the action steps we have been taking, as a part of my quarterly review one of my key commitments going forward is to revive this means of staying in touch with you.

I think one of the key reasons that our start to the year has been so exciting, has been because we are coming into our own.
The work of building our church truly encapsulates the farming process of Cultivation, Protecting and Producing, and one of the most difficult aspects of growing anything is dealing with what it feels like when it appears as though there is nothing there.

On a practical level, we have been able to do a building clear-out enabling us to use our existing space prudently, and recycle unused goods that have also brought in additional resources.
We now have new lighting in our hallways, our toilets, and the next step will be the process of upgrades within our main hall that will include our lighting, audio and visual systems.

From a spiritual perspective we have been focusing on the Holy Spirit this year, and it has been great to share this subject with you alongside our leaders, and I hope that you are enjoying the benefits.
I would also like to mention our Sunday School team and Connect Leaders whose focus on providing a solid platform of pastoral care for our children and congregants has been excellent.
I would like to thank you for your commitment in attending the Sunday Sessions, and creating the unique sense of family that we now have.
I would also like to thank you for your financial support on a weekly basis, as well as in vision offerings, as this gives us a practical platform for change.

I can safely say that we have achieved more in the past 3 month in a visible sense, to underscore the work that has been going on below the surface for the past 5 years.

My commitment is to provide the resources you need to feed yourself regularly with the spiritual food that underpins all of the activities that we engage in as a community.
Here are a few highlights from the Holy Spirit Season series so far this year:

  2. The Tour Guide – Pastor Nigel

As always I thank you for your unceasing commitment to Bethlehem Church Life Centre, and the wider community that you serve.

Have an excellent day

Pastor Nigel Ipinson-Fleming
