I hope you’ve enjoyed this season of teaching on Giving, and the example I shared yesterday of Heulwen’s life serves to demonstrate that giving is a lifestyle choice.

Our new season is called Heroes, and we will be looking at the Bible Hero, Moses.  A bit like Heulwen he probably wouldn’t have said that he was special or professed his ability was greater than others.

Have you ever wondered if you can be used by God? If you are worthy enough to be used?  The good news is that God equips the person he uses, to do the job they are called to.
That means that you are as likely to be called as anyone else.

Now that’s something to think about!

2 Timothy 2:20-21, MSG says this: In a well-furnished kitchen there are not only crystal goblets and silver platters, but waste cans and compost buckets – some containers used to serve fine meals, others to take out the garbage. Become the kind of container God can use to present any and every kind of gift to his guests for their blessing

Whats Happening?

Our Annual Partnership evening at the Crib is this Thursday October 1st @7pm

The partnership evening is an ideal opportunity to find out more about the history of BCLC, our vision, values, as well as knowing more about how we express Kingdom ‘House Rules’

Vision Offering Sunday

Next Sunday October 4th we will be having our very first Vision Offering Sunday.
To date with the efforts of the Gospel Choir, and the Charity Cycle ride by Mark and Lorraine, we have raised just over the £3000 on route to our target of £50,000.

Over the course of the past few years, we have worked tremendously hard to ensure our sustainability as a community resource, and your contribution will enable us to expand.

As much as I keen to emphasise your financial support on the day, I would also like to mention that a regular contribution through the vehicle of tithing or a regular partnership contribution via a standing order will expand our vision greatly.

A regular contribution of £25 per month can provide:

  1. 2 hours of support to our youth and children programmes
  2. Contributes to 1 days heating or lighting
  3. Helps us to maintain building development

To find out more about how you can do this online, please click here, or you could download complete and return our standing order form.

If you would like to know more about tithing or partnership or  have another giving question WATCH THIS, or contact me, and I will be happy to help.

Thank you as always for your ongoing commitment to BCLC, and have a great rest of the week.
